Communicable Diseases

Communicable diseases are the infectious diseases that are illness caused by usually micro-organism like viruses, parasite, bacteria, and fungi and can be transmitted from one person to other via direct contact or indirectly.  The transmission of communicable diseases can lead to outbreaks or epidemic situation if proper preventive measures are not implemented. Vaccination, quarantine measures, hygienic practices are all included in preventive and control strategies. Proper healthcare management system needs to be in place for mitigating the spread of such diseases, this can be early detection, appropriate treatment, and close monitoring.
