Dr. Ameenah Anwar Hussain Siraja, MBBS, MD (Community Medicine), is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Medicine at ESIC Medical College & PGIMSR, Rajajinagar, Bengaluru, India. She has over a decade of experience as a clinician, researcher, and public health professional, with focus areas including Non-Communicable Diseases, Maternal and Child Health, Adolescent Health, and Medical Education. She has contributed to national-level projects with ICMR-NCDIR and WHO on strengthening Medical Certification of Cause of Death (MCCD). As an institutional trainer, she has trained more than 100 junior doctors on MCCD and continues to conduct regular training. She is also a faculty member for the 3-month Industrial health course (Associate Fellow in Industrial Health) and an advocate for SDGs and youth engagement in public health.
