Daniel holds a PhD qualification where he focused on coal combustion emissions, toxicity and cellular uptake in epithelial bronchial cells. I am a male scientist, who combines a rational and analytical mind with excellent time management, good interpersonal and presentation skills. He is currently employed as an Associate Professor at the University of South Africa. His fields of expertise include exposure assessments, human health risk assessment and exposure controls in both occupational and non-occupational settings. He has authored/ co-authored over 25 research articles in the field of occupational hygiene, occupational health, combustion science, aerosol physics, environmental health and exposure science. Moreover, Daniel is currently serving as an OHS expert panel member assisting for SADC region where he is involved in critical analysis of occupational hygiene data and training of representatives from various ministries on health and safety, preparation of policy briefs and coordination of stakeholder engagements forum. Over 15 years in practicing in the fields of occupational hygiene, environmental health, occupational health and exposure science where he develop an interest in the participation as a lead expert in assisting countries to develop regulatory programs to prevent ill-health in both occupational and non-occupational settings.
