Biography
William Bello, PhD, is an analytical pharmacist specializing in Hospital Pharmacy Extractables and Leachables (E&L). He earned his doctorate at Lausanne University Hospital (Switzerland), where he developed DELTA, a database and screening system for monitoring leachables in compounded drug products. He is the co-founder and technical consultant of SafeComp E&L, a non-profit initiative supporting safe compounding practices in hospital pharmacies worldwide. William has published over six papers, is preparing two books on hospital safety, and has been invited to speak at more than a dozen international conferences across seven countries, advocating globally for safer, science-based compounding practices.
